Howgill Fells

Howgill Fells is geologically much older than other parts of the Yorkshire Dales. At the Fell's base lies Sedbergh - a town full of historic buildings and marked by the hand knitting area which once thrived there. Wainwright was as passionate about Howgill as he was about the Lake District, so be assured this area has a sublime beauty all it's own.
